Mid-Life Crisis

Some people have said that I am in a mid life crisis. Some people have said that I am going to look like I fell face first into a tackle box. Some people have warned me to think about my health. Some people told me to think of my girls.
I don’t listen well to some people
I love my new piercing.

I got my nose pierced a few years ago and still love it.
Some people just don’t understand self expression.

Not as brave as a nose piercing, but I got my first tattoo at age 37. Never have regretted it.
Good for you! If you’re happy with it, that’s what matters.

(And you were thinking of your girls. We are our best selves when we are happy with our own decisions. When we dwell too long on the words of others or let others define us, we are doing ourselves — and our children — a disservice.)
